There are no words to describe what Kennedy goes through in this book. Kennedy’s turmoil actually began at the end of book two which I went back and read cause this one was so great. To catch everyone up Kennedy was kidnapped by a couple of crazies and tortured. She actually meets Creedence and Lincoln in a sense when she is rescued. They are the only two people who can reach her deep within her mind. They are there everyday fighting with her to keep her sanity and then just when she needs the the most they are called away. Kennedy in turn runs and when the twins catch up with her the three of them have to work together to find a way to move towards the future they all want and know they can have.
Creedence and Lincoln are super hot and I love that Kennedy says one saved her soul while the other saved her mind. They know what they feel and what they have to do to protect the woman they love but let me tell you when Kennedy confesses some of the thoughts she has had the guys are gutted. This is a pull no punches read and the things that are discussed are difficult. I try really hard to never give any sort of spoiler if I can but I have to say that when it comes out that one of the guys (I won’t say which one so it’s not too much of a spoiler) burns down the house she was tortured in I wanted to stand up and clap. This took me on a roller coaster ride of emotions and I could not have more happy with the way things turned out. I really hope there is another book in this series because it is so good.
