Blushing Reads Lets Read Giveaway

I am so thrilled that you have taken the time to stop by and visit Blushing Reads! My friend told me that I read so much that I should write my own book review blog. She has been saying that to me for a few years and after working in public relations for the last few years I decided that maybe I would give it a go. It took a lot of planning on my part to decide that I wanted to write book reviews and then to get things set up here. I only read romance books as you will find and there will be a number of reviews for books that have been out for a while.

However when I read a book that I enjoy I want to share it regardless of how long it has been out. A good book is just simply that…..a good book. I thought the best way to get to know one another was through an amazing giveaway and what better than one to help you get into the groove of reading! Then I thought why not hold a giveaway or two every month. So each and every month there will be some sort of eReader or tablet giveaway as well as an eGift Card to either Barnes and Noble or Amazon so that you can enjoy some books as well.

The book genes i am really into and my favorites to pick up and read is romance and mystery.

    • Have you seen the new series Zoo based on the book by James Patterson? I saw the first episode last week and it looked interesting!

I don’t really have a favorite. I pretty much read anything…history, mysteries, romance, thrillers. I read fewer science fiction and self improvement books.

  3. Deborah Caudill

I love to read abd basically like most every genre, but right now I have been reading mysteries.

I love to read anything abd everything. When I was a child if I didn’t have a book to read, I would read the back of cereal boxes. Lately I have been reading mysteries with a supernatural slant.

Thanks for posting the review of The Navy Seal’s E-Mail Order Bride. It sounds very interesting and it’s made me wonder how Mason is going to get his brothers to follow his lead and find wives for themselves to sace the family home. I don’t think I have ever read military romance, but I am looking forward to it. It is also free so there’s no reason not to read it.

    • You will love it Deborah! The fact that it was free is what drew me to it originally. You will enjoy each and every one of the brothers as well as the women they choose.

I love biographies. I feel sometimes someone’s true story is better than anything anyone can make up.

  9. Sandy Cain

I read a little bit of everything – bios, the classics, favorite YA books from my childhood….but my total favorite is horror – unabashed, make-my-skin-crawl horror. Stephen King is my main man! : )

Most of the time, I like light reads, those that I can finish rather quickly, so that if I liked it, I could read it again…and maybe again. :3

I love historical romances especially Regency romance as well as time swap romance where the hero and the heroine are from different time period.
