Part 4 of 8 in the chilling, high-octane FBI thriller TOUGH JUSTICE from New York Times bestselling author Carla Cassidy and Tyler Anne Snell, Carol Ericson and Gail Barrett
I really enjoyed this addition to the series. Reading it really reminded me that this series has been written very much like a television series. I was up and down in this one. Lara has some deep issues and then there is Nick’s troubled past and well it left me emotionally drained. The one good thing is that there was a major break in the case but then I remember that this was just one small part in the grand scheme of things. I’m certain that Moretti has plenty planned for the future. I will say that Nick was a bit demanding with wanting answers but I guess the guy has never heard “What’s good for the gander is good for the goose!” Lara needs some answers too. This pair really need to learnt o share things in order for this relationship to work.
