Series: The Wild Hunt Legacy #2
Genres: Menage Romance, Paranormal Romance

After years in foster care, Breanne Gallagher has the stable life she’s always wanted, living with her foster-sister and working as a chef. Then one devastating night, a hellish creature invades her apartment and shatters her fragile existence. Shifting between monster and man, it slaughters her foster sister and assaults Bree. Alone, wounded, her beloved home tainted by gruesome memories, Bree flees to a tiny wilderness town, following her only clue to her past.

Shapeshifting warriors, Zeb and Shay move from one pack to another, hunting the hellhounds which prey on their kind. Assigned to Cold Creek, they manage a decrepit fishing lodge for their "human" cover. Their first renter is a pretty human female who trembles at the sight of them—yet stands her ground. She’s foolishly courageous, ferociously determined, and heartbreakingly hurt. Although shapeshifters aren’t attracted to humans, this female’s beauty and compelling scent ignites longings neither loner ever expected to face.

Bree is healing, learning to shoot the biggest pistol she can find, and overcoming her fears, especially of the two deadly, disconcertingly attractive hunters. Her life is back on track…until she tries to save a little girl from a hellhound and discovers that everything she knows about herself is false.

My Review

I am telling you that each and every book in this series just gets better and better. I was so emotional in this one. Breanne is so afraid but determined to not be a victim anymore that she keeps ending up right there. While Zeb feels as though a woman will never want him outside of a Gathering because his scars. Then there is Shay who is oathbound because of  something in his past.  Fate brings these three together and the ride is rough. Just when you think they are finally going to be able to be together something else happens.

As I said this one was an emotional read and I really fell in love with these three. I can’t wait for future books so I can see how they are doing. They are the kind of people that deserve a happily ever after. Zeb was my favorite of the guys cause he was just so rough yet he was very sweet even though he didn’t want people to know. I love that we got to check in with Calum, Alec, and Vicki in this book as well. Not to mention the way Calum always calls everyone by their full name and never a nickname. These wolves sure know how to show a girl she is loved!

 Other Books in the Series

**Each book is standalone and can be read on their own. However I recommend reading them all regardless of the order. **

I’ve enjoyed several of this author’s previous books. I’m definitely going to have to try this series.
