Sawyer by Nicole Edwards
Series: Alluring Indulgence #7
Genres: Cowboys/Western Romance
From New York Times and USA Today bestselling indie author Nicole Edwards comes the seventh book in her Alluring Indulgence series, erotic romances featuring the Walker brothers from Coyote Ridge, Texas, and their sizzling-hot love interests.
Sawyer Walker has never run into problems with women. The female population tends to swarm toward him, in fact, and he’s never had a complaint.
But there’s one woman Sawyer has always had his eye on. A woman who won’t give him the time of day. In recent months, it would seem that Kennedy Endsley is opening up to Sawyer, but she’s got a few surprises in store for him. Because, as hard as she finds it to resist the handsome Walker brother, she won’t give in easily. Not when her heart is on the line.
Sawyer is my favorite of the Walker Brothers!!! He really is for so many different reasons but mostly because he is just so fun-loving. He loves life and is not afraid to make fun of himself. I mean come on he stood on a street corner with a sign that read “Will Work for Sex” in Kaleb. How can you not love a guy who will make fun of himself that way. He is a playboy and he knows it. He does a lot for his family as well as you learn and some of things are not really spoken of. However everyone needs a dark side and Sawyer was a bit of bully to Kennedy during high school. Although is a moment when you get the feeling he realizes that he went to far.
“Sawyer’s a good guy, no matter what the rumors say. I really think you need to give him a chance.” “Did he pay you to say that?” Kennedy asked, acknowledging that her shock was showing, but she couldn’t help it.”
Kennedy has left home only to return as a vet and she is proud of herself and is not a card carrying Sawyer fan club member. She overhears him making a threesome arrangement with his Greyson (who is a bit of a jerk at times but by the end I wished he had gotten his own story with Kennedy’s assistant Olivia) but he doesn’t follow through. He also learns something very important about Kennedy’s father which makes the man hate Sawyer even more. Add all that into the fact that both Kennedy and Sawyer are super attracted to one another and things can get pretty heated at times.
However resisting Sawyer is pointless and let’s be honest I wouldn’t have resisted him at all. Add in a crazy ex who decides he needs to kidnap Kennedy so they can talk, the worst visit to Alluring Indulgence because when you are that big a playboy who want to take your girl to the club at the sex resort that you manage, and you have an incredible read!
