The Bad Boy's Baby by Cindi Madsen
Genres: Contemporary Romance
Daddy duty might be his toughest mission yet...
There are certain words that have always described Cam Brantley: Town bad boy. Soldier. Protector. But never, ever dad. Until he returns home from his latest military tour to discover the girl he had one smoking-hot night with is now mom to the adorable two-year-old Zoey. Who has his eyes.
Plenty of words could describe Emma Walker these days. Mom, dutiful granddaughter, budding designer, the town’s golden child. But when her longtime crush Cam Brantley comes back to town, she knows the perfect word to describe herself: screwed.
Cam and Emma are both shocked to discover he truly wants Zoey in his life. But Cam’s not sure he’s ready to be a dad, and Emma can’t gamble her daughter on maybes. As the long-simmering heat between Cam and Emma reaches a boiling point, he’ll have to work past his demons in order to be the man both girls need.
This was simple one of the sweetest romances I have read in the last couple of weeks. In The Bad Boy’s Baby we meet Emma Walker who after a one night stand with the town’s bad boy becomes pregnant. Two years later and Emma is busy being a mom to Zoey, taking care of her grandmother and juggling her career. Love isn’t really on Emma’s radar but then Cam Brantley comes home. Cam heads home after his military tour ends and finds out that he is a father. Although the news is shocking he decides that he wants to be involved little Zoey’s life. So he begins to get to know her but in the process he and Emma discover their feeling about one another. Of course nothing is easy and Emma has to decide if she is going to stay when she is offered a job in another state. As I said this was very sweet and I fell in love with Emma, Cam, and little Zoey. It is the perfect book that sometimes the titles we get aren’t always the ones we deserve. It is the perfect second chance romance that leaves you rooting for these two who so deserve happiness together.
